Hand Carved Wooden Hitty Doll

I recently finished hand carving my first wooden Hitty doll. She measures approx 6 1/8 inches tall and is strung with elastic cord, so her arms and legs move independent of each other. 

Original Halloween Doll

Thought I would add a few lines as to what I have been up to. Halloween Dolls. Totally hand sculpted one of a kind creatures, (I mean creations). They are so fun and I am really pleased with them. I should have the first one completed in a few days.

Looking forward to fall/winter, it is to hot to do much of anything outside. Will try not to grump about the cold lol.

I will post pics of the dolls as I complete them.

Izannah Walker quilt is finished

Yes I finished the Izannah Walker doll quilt and will be putting it on ebay tonight with another Birdman painting. He is my favorite to paint. He is always so busy building homes for his little feather friends.


Now I am back to sculpting and starting work on Halloween Dolls. Time flies when we have fun and the older we get lol. I think Halloween is my holiday of choice and have been thinking about going year around making scary, ghostly spooky Dolls.

I would like to really focus on one media and doll making really sparks my creativity, and I am able to use all the medias I like, sculpting, painting, sewing.

Hopefully will have some new pics to up load tomorrow of the quilt.
